Dr. Richard Anderson

From an early age, it was the dental profession that always called to Dr. Anderson. In his childhood hometown of Chatham, Ontario he grew up in a family where his father (an Anglican minister) and his mother (a high school Principal) supported his growth and development.

Dr. Anderson attended the University of Western Ontario for his Honours Bachelor of Science (2004) and Doctor of Dental Surgery (2008). He has spent time working in places as diverse as Ottawa, Northern Manitoba, London and Chatham.

Dentistry appeals to me in many ways. Whether it is the challenging detail, the satisfaction of a happy patient, or the highly aesthetic blend of science, technology, and materials with natural teeth—dentistry fascinates me. Dentistry in general and my specialty, prosthodontics in particular, fully satisfy my love of working with my hands to create functional and therapeutic art.
